    Yes he might be correct, as per the information I got Sajith is marginally ahead due to votes from the people with lower income(both rural and urban), but not sure he will exceed 50%, second preference will come into play....

    Normally UNP has about 30% of Sinhala vote base, but here I have considered 35% considering Premadasa factor, which will add more vote base from the lower income people. And for alternative applicants as per the current trend it must be at least 8% if not more. Then Gota should be around 57%...
