    machan, puluwan nam i7 mobo ekak saha processor ekak ganna DDR3 ram ekka. its future proof. if you want to go for the LGA775 still, buy a good mobo and some more ram, 2gb would not be enough. and machan, if u planning to play games. u need a good vga. dont get fooled by those unity sellers...

    machan, you will be able to run light weight and some sort of exe files through wine. but thats not the point. wine is windows emulation.. if you gives priority for that, why dont you just use windows? ubunty is a linux os.. you cant run windows softwares on linux. same applies to mac as well...
