    as for turning off the "annoying beep", id advice against it but its ur choice... go to spanner/settings/proximity points/audio notification/ its set to "continous- all alerts" by default, atleast i set it that way, u have 3 options in there, ud figure it out... lol.... ofcourse u can turn it...
