Bonus seat for Anarkali Akarsha


Government decided to grant bonus seat most popular female actress Anarkali Akarsha.
In the recent Provincial Council election Anarkali contested in the Matara district of Southern Provincial Council.

She has obtained 8842 votes and was able to win 18th place in the party.

However she was unable to win highest number of preferential votes and lost her provincial council membership.

High officials of the party ordered to grant bonus seat for Anarkali.
