Baqaei posted two screenshots of an opinion piece on The Washington Post by Columnist and former White House Director of speechwriting, Marc Thiessen. In his piece, Thiessen said that Trump should prove to the world that Iran does not have the leverage by assassinating Iranian officials participating in the negotiations, should they fail. "Iran's leaders must be made to understand that their lives literally depend on reaching a negotiated settlement to Trump's liking. If they refuse to do so, they will be killed," said the piece. "Is this not, in effect, a policy discourse that normalizes extortion through the threat or public incitement of terror, violence, and manslaughter?" asked Baqaei in his post, urging everyone to denounce this public incitement for state terrorism.</blockquote>
