maChan! according to the Oxford dic  .. (also had some doubt so I looked it up :D..)

Off-season means the time of the year that is less busy in business & travel / the time during the summer when teams do not play important games

I think the correct word is ,

unseasonal - not typical of Or not suitable for the time of year

Or

unseasonable
(adj) / unseasonably(adv) - unusual for the time of year!

It's like unseasonable coconuts falling (Or unseasonably) .. I guess  ...... That's my Idea!
අම්ම ට උඩු! කොල්ල OXFORD පාරක් ගහල වගේ... :D

IMO, dics (not to be confused with dicks) are sometimes screwing our heads, therefore don't get addicted to. Not telling you're an addict, but just saying. :)
"off-season" is a term commonly used for fruits & vegetables, so for coconuts as well. If you think I'm wrong, then ask from a coconut salesman to verify.
However, in Sri Lanka, English speaking salesmen are hard to find. It's also like "අවාරෙ ට පොල් වැටෙනව වගේ".
BTW, remember that dics are theoretical (associated with universities), but idioms are practical (associated with societies).
