දැන් මම කඩේට ගිය වෙලාවේ බස් හොල්ට් එකේ ඔෆිස් කිට් එකක් ගහගෙන කොල්ලෙක් හිටියා... උගෙන් කොහෙටද මචං යන්නේ කියල අහුවම මට ගේ හොයාගන්න බෑ අයියේ මම ඊයේ මේහෙට ආවේ... අද තමයි අලුත් ජොබ් එකට ගියේ දැන් අවේ රෑ වුනා දැන් පාර මතක නෑ කිව්වා... මම උව දාගෙන යන ගමන් ඇහුවා කලින් හිටියේ කොහෙද කියල.. උ තොටලග ලු.. තොටලග කිවුවම ආයේ අහන්න දෙයක් නෑ ෂුවර් හම්බයෙක්.. මම නිකට අහුවා මචං උබ මුස්ලිම්ද කියල.. බැලින්නම් එයා මුස්ලිම්... කෙනෙක් අසරණ වුණු වෙලාවක ජාතිය ආගම බලන් නැතුව උදවු කරණ එක සිංහලයගේ ගතිය.. එයා කිවුව විස්තර අනුව මම එයාව ගෙදරටම ගිහින් දැම්මා... ඒක තමා සිංහලයගේ සිංහල කම.. මනුස්ස කම... උට හුගක් සතුටුයි.. ඒත් මට දුකයි.. මේ අපේම සිංහල මිනිස්සු තමයි ඒ මුස්ලිම් අයට ඉඩම් විකුනල තියෙන්නේ.. ඇයි දෙයියනේ මේච්චර අපේ මිනිසුන්ට මේක තේරෙන් නැත්තේ.... අපිට අපේ දරැවන්ට ජීවත් වෙන්න රටක් ඉතිරි වෙනවද?.. අද දවසට අපේ පැත්තේ දැක්ක මුස්ලිම් අය මූත් එක්ක 6 දෙනයි.. ඉස්සර එකෙක්වත් හිටියේ නෑ.. මම මේ කතාවට මුල පිරැවේ අපේ සිංහල මිනිසුන්ට නැවත වරක් මතක් කරන්න කවදාවත් හම්බයෙක්ට ඉඩම් විකුනන්න එපා... කීයක් හරි අඩුවෙන් හරි කමක් නෑ සිංහල කෙනෙක්ට දෙන්න... බුදු සරණයි.
