At any point if the accused can be produced to court the surety can withdraw with leave of the court. Should give a reason for request for release, it is the discretion of court but normally when such an application is made court allows. Important thing is surety should bring the accused and make this application though a motion.
If accused is already absconding this application cannot be made till he is found. But as soon as he is found you can make the application to withdraw.
