Message: <blockquote data-quote="ShiningStar" data-source="post: 23020898" data-attributes="member: 565650">this is normal in other countries. this will discourage people who play with buying and selling lands. buying and selling land for profit will make the land price high with in a short amount of time. sri lanka should put another tax for people who do this as a business. there are so many needful people who dont have a proper land piece to build their dream home in sri lanka. they deserve some land more than people who buy land as an investment. note:- from the other side im wondering what our rulers are doing with the money they tax us. there will be no problem with taxing people if the country is doing something for its citizens rather than buying luxury cars for politicians </blockquote>
