This is a typical scenario in Dhaka, where beggars carry infants in their arm and asks for money to feed her infant.
You might ask what is wrong about this, it is WRONG in every possible way.
In the picture above, the young lady is seen carrying an infant supposedly her own child or sister, but NO its not her and in most cases not related to her in anyway. But that’s not the entire story.
These infants are rented from their original parents and sedated so they keeps on sleeping all day. They baby never sobs or screams, always sleeps. Children are used while begging because this captures public sympathy and it is very easy to get money from others when you have a starving infant in your lap. Very smart marketing i tell you.
These infants are born into slavery, their destiny sealed. They are robbed from their childhood. One can imagine how harmfully those cheap sedatives used regularly on them will have impact on their body as they grow up.
Anyone with a functioning eyeball will notice what a good amount these ladies earn in the streets of Dhaka; enough to feed these children a healthy meal. But of course these children are not fed well, sedatives are their main diet. If they gain good health by proper feeding, they will fail to capture public sympathy, so they are not fed well.
So who is to blame? The parents only? or the ignorant society which gives alms to ladies with a starving infant?
By giving alms you are supporting the dirtiest business of humanity, SLAVERY.
