As Muslims, we love hearing about high profile people reciting the “Kalmah”. And the internet keeps converting celebrities that we love. Such news is often met with exhilaration, followed by dismay on finding out the truth. Here are some such celebrities that converted to Islam according to the internet (which means they didn’t actually convert). Let’s see if you can figure out which ones are real and which ones are fake.
1. Lindsay Lohan
mvslim.com Earlier in 2015, news broke out that the party-girl, Lindsay Lohan had converted to Islam after she was spotted carrying the Holy Quran. For what it’s worth Quran calls alcohol an abomination, so we are not quite sure how it worked out for Lindsay.
2. Dave Chappelle
policemag.com Chappelle is known as one of the hardest hitting comedians of all time, taking on the likes of Oprah and others in his skits. In 1998, he converted to Islam and soon after stopped his over-the-top gig on Comedy Central.
3. Madonna

4. Mike Tyson

6. Michael Jackson
Blica In 2008, various reports came out that Michael had converted to Islam. The news gathered credibility when later it was reported that Michael had changed his name to Mikael. The legend died soon after so the mystery remains a mystery.
7. Janet Jackson

8. Liam Neeson

10. Undertaker

Currently he is engaged to one Amal Alamuddin and rumor mills are at it again. After all, how can a non-Muslim have an affair with a Muslim?
