    @imhotep, නොගියපු රටවල් ටික කියමු බලන්න. (ජෝක් නෙවෙයි සිරාවට)
    I have been to many countries all over the word, except Russia, the two Koreas & India. I have visited Seoul for two nights for a conference and also visited Chennai & Bombay. These are only for a couple of days. Not for sight seeing.
    I have always said why go sight seeing in "Apaya" when there's a big possibility of ending up in there anyway. (Referring to India) But I sent my mother on pilgrimage with a friend of mine's family. They have business contacts in India and had organised an excellent tour.
    I might travel to the Himachal areas one day.

    When we visit, we always travel around. It's not the theme parks or concrete but the National Parks & the Nature. We try to cover the most possible, unlike time wasting guided tours. Always hire a car from the airport and return back. This time when we returned just after a month, the phone says your last 30 days walk amount was 168kms. These are the walks for sight seeing from the car park and back. I did notice one day it was 19.5 kms for the day. Not on level ground but involves climbing too. You get to meet people too. I will write when I got some time.

    Visit visa depends on your personal circumstances. Here's what I wrote previously on the same topic

    "When I applied for a visit Visa for my son to the US. He just obtained a new passport but had travelled before to the US twice. I requested for just a multiple entry visa (because we usually travel to Canada too). On collection, informed that they issued a visa for him that's valid for the whole 10 years of his passport with multiple entry. Then I went to the Canadian embassy. After a brief look at the details, the lady in the front counter requested me to wait and they did exactly the same in just 30 mins. There seems no rhyme or reason when it comes to these matters. Anything is possible at the discretion of the issuing officer."
