Since I'm not an IT guy, I don't know how to ask that question. I know that you'll say there are different languages for different purposes. What I'm trying to say is that things change/evolve as in IT. You can also ask "why you need to invent new technologies and new languages, because back in 2000 experts say XXXX is the best language for YYYY purpose. Is it the same now?

It's not the same strain of covid that we have this year as last year. Previous vaccines are for previous strains not for the new ones. Also masks and Sanitizers may not help in avoiding from new strains.
