even malaysia is doing the same thing. some of their english teachers cant even speak proper english. they still attract international students because they have the best infrastructure for international students. jealousy idiots protest when sri lanka wants to build private universities. skill is not enough if we dont have the infrastructure. we as a nation might have developed far ahead than other asian nations if we dont have jealousy people in this country. sri lanka lost the opportunity of making money from higher education because of other jealousy sri lankan. we have very good teachers here in sri lanka and we might have attracted a lot of international students in to our country. look at the possibilities sri lanka can have if they started this business. international students will spend on sri lankan accomadation , taxi guys will make money giving them transport , sri lankan colleges will make money out of them , sri lankan resturant owners will make money. this will be a good revenue stream for sri lanka. with all these possibilities and opportunities look how sri lanka is making money now ? we make money by sending our women to wash dishes in arabia ? we make money by providing cheap labor for garment industry. we will always be a poor nation if we dont come out of our jealousy and stupidness. look how many of our lankans migrating in to developed nations just because this country is totally mismanaged. we can make use of their skills.
