මුදල් අමාත්‍ය රවි කරුණානායක විසින් ලොතරැයි පත්වල මිල වැඩිකිරීමට හේතු වූ කරුණු පිළිබඳ කැබිනට් මණ්ඩලයේදී කරුණු පැහැදිලි කිරීමට ගත් උත්සාහයේදී අදහස් දක්වමින් ජනාධිපතිවරයා මේ බව ඉතා දැඩි ලෙස සඳහන් කළ බවද වාර්තාවේ.
