Doctor remanded for taking pictures of lady doctor while undressing​

A 35-year old medical doctor attached to the National Hospital in Colombo was arrested and remanded for trespassing and taking pictures of a lady doctor at the Ragama Hospital.

Police Spokesman SDIG Ajith Rohana said a complaint made by the lady doctor to the Ragama Hospital claiming that the suspect doctor entered her room stealthily and took pictures while she was undressing on Saturday.

The suspect, a resident of Samanthurai was arrested accordingly.

The police also took the mobile phone of the suspect to their custody.

It was leanrt that the suspect joined the Ragama Hospital a few months ago.

He was produced before the Welisara Magistrate and remanded till July 16.

Following the arrest of the suspect, the police received another two complaints against the same person in connection with similar incidents.
