He was the caretaker of one of the pilgrims accommodation place (wishrama salawa ) in Katharagama.    I was visiting katharagama sometime in mid eighties with my friends, but we not booked any accommodation. One of my friends know a police officer, so we ask his help. He organize this accommodation through that caretaker, so we invite that IP and that caretaker to join us  for a drink on that night. After few drinks, this caretaker bugger starts to boast his peeping  skills.    According to him, he choose good looking woman (with her partner) and gave them selected rooms. Those room window glasses painted to be obscure, but have peeping holes on them. Peeping holes positioned to get the best view of the bed, and rooms are well lit from the outside lights. This man (may be in his late fifties, early sixties at that time) go there and peep during the night. Everybody in that place knows that too. After  this man left, I ask that police guy, why don't you do something about this guy??    His answer was "he is not harming anyone, so I don't see it's a problem, furthermore, whenever I ask for a room (like I get this room for you) he somehow make one available.
