Does anyone remember what they tell ? This happened when Mrs. Bandaranayaka was in power. Unfortunately I do not remember the channel and news exactly. 2. SLBC announcer has once on a April fool day has reported that the government is canceling Rs. 100 notes and asked public to change the Rs 100 bills in to other bills. This had created public havoc and then Government made an announcement telling that it is not true. The announcer was punished for that.3. Is April Fool Day one of our National Day ? It is not. So Main stream media has a big responsibility when doing things like this. 4. As the article says in the second page, Indian government may take this seriously. Now they are finding faults with us. Even a matter like this from a National paper involving Indian security given the situation is not so good.</blockquote>
