Many schools, possibly other than the ones in Colombo, probably do not do a proper job of teaching. Cannot blame them. Their outlook is that everyone should be turned into an Engineer or a doctor.If I write about the current education standards in SL, probably I will have to write a book.So I will stop with the following.. It's called the Golden Rule of Afghan Education. -"No amount of poor schooling can spoil a good child" This is the bottomline.</blockquote>
