that is correct..many people there are who are satisfied..but you think many people can treat another whose faith is different as they treat one of their own?
I bet 99% of buddhist feel superior to the rest in terms of faith or religion the same way people of other faiths feel..
I personally find it all to be rather lulzy though

Buddhism, in theory it says that people can never be satisfied with anything they always want more, Tanha. Actually buddhist goal Nirvana is suppose to end this thirst to have/want/hold.
People find strangest things to discriminate on. May it be skin colour, language, religion, sex, class. So what they do is threat others who are little bit different from them. Guess it's ~humane.
Here in Sri Lanka, this is true because they are the majority. This as can obliviously is different in any other country with another kind of majority. All leads back to power.
It's quit sad actually, religion should be yours and yours only. It's personal, you can practise as much you like without getting others in.

seems to be our nature to do so..religions are probably unconsciously used as an excuse.. it is sad of course..this thread being a prime example.

I've seen scientific facts I've taught at school
it can revolve around any thing for all I care..but when it comes to things as important as religion on which you might base your life, I'd have more concrete proof 
I also believe that it's Oxygen that I breathe..never seen it though
