In Sri Lanka, as Buddhists, we practice co-existence in peace and harmony with other religious groups, Including Islam. We do not go attacking others based on Facebook photos or films. However i can see that Bangladeshi people are different from the rest of the world. I would like to point out, that even though you burned Buddhist shrines and attacked Buddhists in your country, we will never be a threat to Bangladeshi's living in Sri Lanka. we will not kill your ambassador here, we will not burn any mosques here.  Your cricket team is always welcome in Colombo.  That sir , is what Buddhism has taught us. Personally I would be ashamed if my countrymen did what your people did to a religion that teaches ahimsa.. Harmony with all. This email is in protest of what SOME OF your people did to Buddhist shrines. I know many Bangladeshis will condemn this attack. But what is to prevent any such actions in the future?  What precautions have you taken ? We would like to see a statement to that effect.. That is of course if only the Government of Bangladesh recognizes that other religions  also can exist in Bangladesh .. the same as IslamWith best regards from Sri Lanka</blockquote>
