ක්රිකට් විරුවන් අපහසුතාවට පත්කරන වෙබ් අඩවි දැඟලිල්ලක්
ස්වාධීන රූපවාහිනියේ විකාශය වූ විමසුම වැඩ සටහනේ අදහස් විවෘත කොට යොදා ගනිමින් ශ්රී ලංකා ක්රිකට් විරුවන් අපහසුතාවට පත් කිරීමේ උත්සාහයක් ඇතැයි ස්වාධීන රූපවාහිනීය ඊයේ රාත්රී ප්රවෘත්ති ප්රකාශනයෙන් කියා සිටී. පසුගිය ඉරිදා ස්වාධීන රූපවාහිනී ප්රධාන ප්රවෘත්ති විකාශය අවසානයේ ප්රචාරය වූ විමසුම විශේෂාංගය යොදා ගනිමින් විද්යුත් මාධ්ය ආයතන කිහිපයක් හා වෙබ් අඩවි කිහිපයක් මෙම බොළඳ උත්සාහයේ නිරතව සිටී. ශ්රී ලංකා පාකිස්තාන ක්රිකට් තරඟය සම්බන්ධයෙන් පසුගිය ඉරිදා විමසුම රචනා කොට තිබුණේ මාධ්යවේදී මහින්ද අබේසුන්දර විසිනි.
ඊයේ ප්රවෘත්ති විකාශනයේ මෙසේද සඳහන් විය. ශ්රී ලංකා ක්රීඩකයන් අවසානය දක්වාම හොඳ තරගයක් ලබාදුන් බවත් ක්රිකට් ලෝලීන් ද අවසානය දක්වාම ඔවුන් සමගම රැඳී සිටි බවත් එදින ලැබූ තියුණු පරාජය මීළඟ තරග ජයග්රහණය සඳහා හොඳ ගැම්මක් පමණක් බවත් ඉන් අවධාරණය කර තිබිණ. එහෙත් විමසුමේ ඇතුළත්ව තිබූ වාක්ය කිහිපයක් වෙනත් අර්ථ නිරූපණයක් ලැබෙන පරිදි ඉස්මතු කර දක්වමින් මහේල ජයවර්ධන සහ තිලාන් සමරවීර යන විශිෂ්ට ක්රීඩකයන් දෙදෙනා අපහසුතාවට පත් කිරීම ඇතැම් කණ්ඩායම්වල උත්සාහයයි.
එවැනි කිසිඳු අදහසක් හෝ අවශ්යතාවක් ස්වාධීන රූපවාහිනියට නොතිබිණි. ලෝක කුසලාන තරගාවලිය වෙනුවෙන් ශ්රී ලංකාව සත්කාරකත්වය ඉල්ලා සිටින අවස්ථාවේ සිට නව ක්රීඩාංගණ ඉදිවෙද්දීත් ලෝක කුසලාන ඉලක්කයක් වෙනුවෙන් ශ්රී ලංකා පිල සැරසෙද්දී පසුගිය කාලය පුරා පටු අරමුණුවලින් තොරව ශ්රී ලංකා ක්රිකට් ක්රීඩාව සමගම රැඳී සිටියේ ස්වාධීන රූපවාහිනියයි. මවුබිමේ නාලිකාව ලෙසින් අද මෙන්ම හෙටත් දේශයේ කි්රකට් විරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් ස්වාධීන රූපවාහිනිය පෙනී සිටිද්දී ඇතැම් කණ්ඩායම් ගෙන යන විකෘති ප්රචාර තුළින් සිදුවන්නේ මවුබිමේ ක්රිකට් විරුවන් අධෛර්යයට පත්වීමයි. එවැනි තත්ත්වයකට ඉඩ නොතබන ලෙස අපි සියලු කණ්ඩායම් වලින් ජාති මාමකත්වයෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටිමු.
එදා අද මෙන්ම හෙටත් අපේ ක්රිකට් විරුවන් දිරිමත් කරමින් ලෝක කුසලාන ඉලක්කය වෙනුවෙන් අපි ඔවුන් සමඟම රැඳෙන්නෙමු. අවස්ථාවාදී ප්රචාර හමුවේ ඉවසීමෙන් හා වගකීමෙන් කටයුතු කළ මහේල තිලාන් ඇතුළු අපේ ක්රිකට් විරුවන්ටත් සමස්ත ප්රේක්ෂක ජනතාවටත් ස්වාධීන රූපවාහිනි ප්රවෘත්ති අංශය සිය කෘතවේදීත්වය පිරිනමයි. 2011 ක්රිකට් ලෝක කුසලානය ද අපේ ක්රිකට් විරුවන් මවුබිමට අත්කර දෙනු දැකීම ස්වාධීන රූපවාහිනියේ ඒකායන අපේක්ෂාවයි.

Cricket World Cup: Network apologises to Jayawardene

The state television broadcaster accused of implying Sri Lanka vice-captain Mahela Jayawardene was guilty of match-fixing has apologised.
Sri Lanka Cricket chief DS de Silva said the board would not be taking any legal action "for the moment".
De Silva said: "They have already made an unconditional apology. They promised to send the apology in writing."
It was suggested the vice-captain deliberately played badly for financial gain in Saturday's defeat by Pakistan.
Formwe Sri Lanka leg-spinner De Silva said the remarks broadcast on Sri Lankan state TV network ITN was an "attempt to demolarise our team".
He added: "We have written to ITN asking for an explanation. This is a very serious offence by them. It is a false report. That's why we wrote to them and sought and explanation."
Jayawardene had said his lawyer was drafting a letter to "get to the bottom" of the accusation.
The allegation was also levelled at batsman Thilan Samaraweera.
Sri Lanka lost Saturday's World Cup game against Pakistan by 11 runs, with Jaywardene scoring two runs while Samaraweera scored one.
A commentary on Sunday on Sri Lankan state TV network ITN, written by the editor of a state newspaper, Mahinda Abeysundara, said a businessman had bet about 18,000 dollars on a Pakistan victory and that there had therefore been what he called a "chorus to change the game".
The commentator then remarked: "We just think Mahela and Thilan may have changed the game."
The commentary was accompanied by slow-motion extracts from the match, sad music and blurry shots implying financial impropriety.
The country's cricket board, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), has firmly backed its players, describing the broadcast as "baseless and thereby demoralising".
An SLC statement added: "Sri Lanka Cricket will be taking this matter up with the relevant authorities of this channel, based on the fact that this channel has brought great distress to two of our national cricketers who have served Sri Lanka Cricket with honour and dignity throughout their illustrious careers so far."
The team's fans, too, reacted angrily on social networking sites such as Facebook.
One said: "How dare you tell that Mahela and Thilan are betrayers... this is so disgusting." Another called the coverage "shameless".
In response, the channel said it was deeply concerned if the programme had hurt the two players but issued no retraction or apology.
