28, May 2012 (CRicturf): Sri Lanka fast bowling sensation Lasith Malinga pulled off his contract with Middlesex Due to injury concerns. Malinga Signed with Middlesex for upcoming English domestic Twenty20 (Friends Life T20) tournament.
Malinga pulled his contract with Middlesex soon after returning from IPL. Sri Lanka facing a busy schedule ahead with hosting of Pakistan & India series, Sri Lanka Premier League and Twenty20 World cup ahead.
"I was really looking forward to playing a few T20 games for Middlesex this summer, but playing for Sri Lanka remains my top priority and I have to make sure I am in peak condition for upcoming tours and the World T20 later this year.
