Regarding your earlier comment about Dasa maha yodhayo, even I don't think there were giants like Aegir and Ran, but I do believe there were muscular people ( worriers ) led Dutugamunu's army. these people could do some stuff which other people cannot do and they tend to belive or I strongly believe because of their dictator or military mindset other people stay humble and serve as slaves. ( that's my personal opinion ).about the buddha, I do believe one man cannot gather that much data, so buddha is a set of people.
