Ramayana has influenced many other cultures other than India and you can find Ramayana related names and locations in other South and South Eastern countries like Thailand, Malaysia, China and many more.If we can find archaeological evidence of Balangoda Man, who lived over 35,000 years ago in Sri Lanka, then why we dont find any archaeological evidence of Ravana era. If we had such a great civilization, we should find archaeological evidence everywhere in the country just like in Anuradhapura and Pollonnaruwa. This itself shows that it is just a fictional story.Most people tend to believe this story to be true as it has been in our culture and arts for so long. Also, some other believers just believe it because it is something to be proud about our history. We are any way champions to be bragging about our history and doing nothing in the present <img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/happy.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":)" title="Happy    :)" data-shortname=":)" />. In addition, now there is a bunch of crooks who try to live out of this Ravana Believers Market (which appears to be quite large in size by the way). These people will not only connect and fabricate anything out of ordinary to the Ravana story but also will shame and disgrace any non believers with the label of Kalu Sudda or traitor unfaithful to the country.</blockquote>
