I have experience with UK/Germany and Singapore apple stores. I got those gray market imported iPhone 13pro and got screen issue after 11 months. Took it to Srilankan Apple agent and they check it through apple diagnostics software and said it'll take 2-3 months to repair but asked for receipt. I said I got it as a gift. They told me they can't repair without receipt. I explain to them apple warrety policy and they allow repairs as long as its genuine and owner is genuine (not reported stolen). I told them if they refused I'll email apple and explain the situation. After few min of talking to manager they said they can accept the phone for repair but take time. Seems like nice way to send away customers coming for services. In the end I took it to UK Oxford Street store and no questions asked about receipt except I have to log in and remove old phone from cloud. I got a replacement phone within 48hrs. Old phone is purchased from USA according to Apple service center guy.My advice is check if phone is genuine through apple warranty site and if it is don't worry about gray market imports. </blockquote>
