වැඩ නොකළත් වැටුප් දෙන්නැයි යෝජනාවක්

ස්විස්ටර්ලන්තයේ සෑම පුරවැසියෙකුටම අනිවාර්ය මූලික ආදයක්මක් ලබාදීමේ වැඩපිළිවෙලක් හඳුන්වා දිය යුතුද නැත්ද යන්න පිළිබඳව රජය මගින් ජනමත විචාරණයක් පැවැත්වීමට කටයුතු යොදා තිබේ.

එරට ජීවත්වන වැඩිහිටි පුරවැසියෙකුට රැකියාවක් කළත් නොකළත් කොන්දේසි විරහිත මාසික ආදායමක් ලබාදීමයි මෙම වැඩසටහන මගින් යෝජනා වී ඇත්තේ.
තවමත් එසේ ගෙවනු ලබන මුදල පිලිබඳ තීරණයක් ගෙන නොතිබුණද මෙම යෝජනාව පිටුපස සිටින්නන් පවසන්නේ වැඩිහිටියන් සඳහාමාසික ආදායම ස්විස් ෆ්‍රෑන්ක් 2,500 (ශ්‍රී ලංකා රුපියල් එක් ලක්ෂ අසු දහසකට වැඩි මුදලක්) සහ සෑම ළමයෙකුටම ස්විස් ෆ්‍රෑන්ක් 625 (ශ්‍රී ලංකා රුපියල් අනූ හතරදාස් පන්සියයක්) බැගින් ලබා දියයුතු බවයි.

In Sri Lanka it is always only very few who work hard, others get the praise and promotions and fringe benefits . Whether it is Private or Public sector , no matter . So there are lot of people who get better salaries while not working but riding on others!(the few who work )

Swiss voters have overwhelmingly rejected a proposal to introduce a guaranteed basic income for all.

Final results from Sunday's referendum showed that nearly 77% opposed the plan, with only 23% backing it.

The proposal had called for adults to be paid an unconditional monthly income, whether they worked or not.

The supporters camp had suggested a monthly income of 2,500 Swiss francs (£1,755; $2,555) for adults and also SFr625 for each child.

The amounts reflected the high cost of living in Switzerland. It is not clear how the plan would have affected people on higher salaries.

The supporters had also argued that since work was increasingly automated, fewer jobs were available for workers.
