I was doing some work in my mother's home, (nobody live in that property, but we used to go there regularly and maintain it as much as we can) and this electricity engineer guy came in  with his crew. I was wearing nothing but a short, having dust all over me due to the clean up I was doing. He start insulting me about the broken electricity meter, and giving me big talks. I got angry, and ask him to tell me how much do I have to pay for the meter, to where I should pay, and get lost. By this time few of my friends came around and make some noise too. I insist he should tell me the amount and place to pay, because he was giving me the mouthful at the beginning. Then he politely said, come and see him in the office(homagama office, which is in galawilawaththa) and then he will sort this out. Next day, I went there in my jeep, park right in front of his office, slam shut the door and went in, and ask him about the damage to the meter. He was a totally different person on that day, and apologised to me, and told me the meter belongs to them, so I don't need to pay anything. That's the end of that story. I think they try to scare me and get some money, without realising who am I . So my advice is, if you not done anything wrong, don't budge.</p></blockquote><p></p>
