The low rank is because of lack of international level research. Unfortunately the  ranking is mainly based on that. Some think that University is a place where merely professionals are developed like a factory. But it is not true. It is all about research and the new knowledge generated.The industry can not survive without university. In fact here most of the products are originally developed at university (e.g. Genetically modified Canola). The university can not survive without industry (funding and collaboration). We have seen that a strong advanced industry pave the way to to good reputed universities.  </blockquote>
