Insulin Resistance literally means body can't bring down Glucose levels due to resistance to Insulin. Diabetes

    Wrong

As long as the pancreas can produce enough extra insulin to overcome the resistance, it forces glucose into the cells despite the poor response. This keeps fasting and overall blood glucose in the normal range (typically fasting glucose <5.6 mmol/L or <100 mg/dL, and HbA1c <5.7%).

This compensation is effective early on, so many people have no high blood sugar yet, but they do have high insulin levels (which can be detected on tests like fasting insulin or HOMA-IR).
