Although he knew he could enter into the parliament again by a upcoming parliament election, there are very less people who would give-up parliament membership and contest to a provincial council election. I mean just imagine if he did not gain such votes and did not make such a positive difference to the UNP election results, then his whole political career and the image would have been ruined. I'm so happy because he made through it. I think ranjith madduma bandara and PC election contestants of UNP from monaragalla district also should get the credit as becz they got 5 out of 14 seats even though m'gala is a UPFA's fortress. Also appreciate the participation by UNP leaders, seniors, juniors, UNP UVA PC election contestants and specially UVA province voters who joined to made this positive results.
