I salute Hasalaka Gamini and all the other war heroes who sacrificed their today for our tomorrow. May all of you attain the supreme bliss of nibbana.

Hasalaka Gamini was a novice monk and he was one of the survivors from the Aranthalawa massacre and his name was Mahiyangane Dharmajothi Thero. After seeing the brutality of the monstrous LTTE, he left the robes and joined SL Army and did the maximum sacrifice for our motherland.
