It’s not about how hard you fall.
It’s about how strong you come back.
This is the first event I’m attending after my accident on 23rd December
If you swipe right, you’ll see the visible wounds the ones I can show.
The liver damage and broken ribs aren’t visible, but they were there too.
One of my teeth was completely knocked out, my nose bone cracked, and another tooth was affected. I was on concussion for two days, so I don’t remember the accident at all.
Those first two days are completely blank.
The first clear memory I have is waking up in the ICU… and realizing I had lost a tooth.
My husband was extremely worried because he knows how much I protect my teeth. They were healthy, natural, slightly off white and I never even wanted to whiten them because I didn’t want to damage them. That’s how much I valued them.
I also had a major injury to my chin and had to undergo plastic surgery. The doctors tried to fix the knocked out tooth, but there’s still a chance I may need an implant.
And when I finally realized everything, my response was simple:
“It’s okay. I’m okay. Don’t worry.”
Because nothing in life is permanent.
And your mindset during hard times matters not just for you, but for your family too.
Even before one month has passed, I’m here. Attending an event. Living my life.
No matter how hard you fall, you have to strengthen your mind.
You can’t change the past but you can choose how you move forward.
I will still do what I love.
I will still choose adventure.
This experience taught me a lot.
An active, healthy lifestyle truly pays off. It helps you recover faster when you’re sick or injured. I’ve seen it in my own life.
One last thing: when I was in the hospital bed, unable to even move my head, I realized something deeply.
Being able to walk on your own.
Eat without help.
Move freely.
These are luxuries.
Good health is a luxury.
So yes chase your dreams. Aim high.
But also be grateful for your life, your health, and what you already have.
Because gratitude changes everything.
