Well written. Scientifically written article, but I think that even a non scientific background person could understand.
The issue is why DCD or Melamine is percent in Milk. They are industrial chemicals and should not be percent even in trace quantities in Milk or any food .
As the writer said a popular chocolate brand was banned following a court order, but unfortunately the said order was appealed and High Court held that the percentage of Melamine has not exceeded the approved level. (the Company retained a recently retired Attorney General who is now in to private practice and the learned High Court Judge was a former Senior State Counsel from the Attorney General's Department). Why is there an approved level for Melamine, who approved this standards, when there is no nutritional value in Malamine, and this is only a industrial chemical and can only found in Milk if it is mixed by this chemical. There cannot be fertilizer theory to this chemical , which is a man made compound used in the making of Plastics . I do not think the fertilizer theory can be applied to Melamine. Why is there an approved level . Pl explain.
