It's been noticed that the best immunity is with the cohort who got infected with Covid initially in 2020 and later on vaccinated with mRNA vaccines. These were the most impressive group. Some call it "Superhuman", some call it "Bulletproof" or the correct term "Hybrid Immunity"
Many in this group showed solid immunity against the variants, including the Beta & Delta and other corona virus family inclusive of SARS-Cov-1.
So the scientists engineered a virus, on purpose, to be highly resistant to neutralization. This consisted of 20 mutations that are known to prevent SARS-CoV-2 antibodies from binding to it.
Antibodies from people who were
only vaccinated or
who only had prior coronavirus infections were essentially
useless against this mutant virus.
But antibodies in people with the
"Hybrid Immunity" could neutralize it.
It's hard to say whether this type of immunity
can ever be generated using multiple jabs of vaccines...However, these observations will help the search for a Pan CoronaVirus vaccine - a Universal vaccine against all variants or even against the entire Coronaviridae family of viruses.
The human immune system plays a major part after being infected and pushed ahead with an mRNA shot. Hope that someone finds out what's the mechanism behind this.
