this wc is more or less fixed, otherwise how come both ind and pak in one group, they play on a saturday, no drs for matches played in india, india only has longer gaps between matches, ind gets the last match that too against possibly their strongest opposition in the group (that changed with NZ defeating them), most of the illegal action/doping bans happened to asian teams except india etc.

to add to that our team does not get the support and guidance in preparing well. hope we still will play well against eng and sa come out the winners and show the true potential.

most of the players lack common sense and don't play to our strengths and limitations. yesterday's match if kapu or thiri stayed a bit longer we would have scored around 150 and that could have been a fighting total. trying to score 200 and end up at 120. that's where specially sanga was great where he most of the time had the match sense and changed plans accordingly.

going into the next match i get the sense that kapu might get dropped for dasun/sachi. actually kula also to be dropped for dasun/suranga not because he is bowling that bad but because he is not making much of an impact as a strike bowler. it was unfortunate that the openers got out early. chandi was under pressure because everyone try to accuse him for not scoring quickly but see what happened when he got out due to that pressure.

yep, even he is not good for T20. should need to be replaced and give some more chances to Dasun. Thiri had enough chances for along 4,5 Years.Very poor selection from Selectors.

I recommend Dasun Shanaka (Fast bawler & Batsman) & Shehan Jayasooriya (Not a good batsman but can use him as a bawler) to the SL team as replacements for Kapugedara & Thirimanna.

Our team is struggling at the moment without match wininng players. There's nothing much the selection committee or the coach can do now.

Everything is on Capatain's shoulder now, he should lead the team with a positive mind.
Best example is Dhoni's 2008 T20 World cup victory, he as a young Captain led his inexperienced team (Without Sachin, Dravid, Ganguly, Zaheer,Shewag, etc) to the victory by battling with experienced teams then
I hate India but I highly appreciate their 2008 WC victory.

Even Afghanistan is on form now, I saw how they battled with SA yesterday, sometimes they might win against England.
