False Claims & Deception
The group reportedly falsely claims an association with JPMorgan, which is completely untrue. JPMorgan has no connection to WV6 Securities or these websites.Victims were told:
- This is NOT a pyramid scheme
- Only a minimum deposit of 500 USDT (≈ USD 500) is required
- Funds would be used for professional crypto trading
- Profits could be withdrawn easily
How the Scam Actually Works
Based on multiple reports:
- Users deposit 500 USDT or more
- Small withdrawals are initially allowed to build trust
- Only 75% of profits can be withdrawn
- When users attempt to withdraw larger amounts:
- Accounts are frozen
- Users are told they must recruit more people
- This reveals the true pyramid structure
Financial Impact
- Over 100 Sri Lankans have reportedly joined
- Estimated losses exceed USD 50,000
- Funds are believed to be transferred to foreign (Chinese) scam operators
- Victims are left with frozen accounts and no recovery process
Red Flags to Watch For
- Guaranteed or low-risk crypto profits
- Mandatory recruitment to unlock withdrawals
- Partial withdrawals only
- Accounts frozen without legal explanation
- Fake claims of affiliation with major banks
- No verifiable company registration or regulation
