Xu reportedly was interested in making the dangerous, nearly nine-hour flight because he had heard baggers at Dubai International Airport make a good living. In a statement, Emirates did not provide further details of the incident, but said "We are cooperating fully with authorities in Dubai and as this is a police matter we are unable to comment further at this time."
