Oxford University Women’s Rugby Football Club proudly represents the university as a full Blue sport. Our motto ‘Back Yourself’ embodies the courage and determination of all our girls, whether they play representative rugby or step out onto the field for the first time at university.
Mind Your Head, Oxford University’s mental health campaign, was founded in November 2011 with three aims: to raise awareness of mental illness; to fight the stigma associated with it and to improve student mental wellbeing.
OUWRFC have been part of Mind Your Head’s journey from the start: one of our players co-founded the campaign; OUWRFC produced a video to raise awareness for mental illness in 2012; three players swam the English Channel for the campaign this summer and two of our players are currently involved in the campaign’s working groups.
£1 from every calendar sold will go to Mind Your Head.
