Dream Scenario is a 2023 American surrealist comedy film written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli. It stars Nicolas Cage, Julianne Nicholson, Michael Cera, Tim Meadows, Dylan Gelula and Dylan Baker. The film is produced by Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen under their Square Peg banner, alongside Cage, Jacob Jaffke, and Tyler Campellone. Its plot follows a hapless professor who becomes an overnight celebrity after appearing in everyone's dreams.
Dream Scenario premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2023, and is scheduled to be released by A24 on November 10, 2023.
Film Synopsis
Hapless family man Paul Matthews (Nicolas Cage) finds his life turned upside down when millions of strangers suddenly start seeing him in their dreams. But when his nighttime appearances take a nightmarish turn, Paul is forced to navigate his newfound stardom.
