Zack Snyder's darker take on Superman was a refreshing change, and the overall cast was excellent.  I genuinely want to like the new version since Superman is my favourite superhero, but it's hard to say these days. For me, it all depends on the movie's tone. Who knows? It could end up being filled with shallow, performative woke messaging, or it might turn out to be a better movie than all previous versions.</blockquote>
