Netflix has released a full trailer showing off 28 of their upcoming original films for 2022. Netflix is currently the leading the streaming service race in overall subscriptions, outpacing competition like Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max, and many more. Founded in 1997 as a mail-based DVD rental service, Netflix evolved to streaming, taking over the platform and beating out the competition by being the first to offer original and licensed content, starting with the 2013 debut of House of Cards. Netflix currently has over 200 million subscribers worldwide, with Amazon Prime Video trailing behind in second place.
