Violent Night is an upcoming American Christmas black comedy action film directed by Tommy Wirkola from an original screenplay written by Pat Casey and Josh Miller. The film stars David Harbour, John Leguizamo, and Beverly D'Angelo.
Violent Night will have its world premiere at the New York Comic Con on October 7, 2022, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on December 2, 2022, by Universal Pictures.
Film synopsis
An elite team of mercenaries breaks into a family compound on Christmas Eve, taking everyone hostage inside. However, they aren't prepared for a surprise combatant: Santa Claus is on the grounds, and he's about to show why this Nick is no saint.
