ජයකණුව පේන තෙක් මානෙවත්
නැති දිනකි
රැය පහන්වෙන තුරුම වෙලඹට නිදහසක්

In yonder realm, a horseman's tale unfold,
Mounted astride a mare, his strength behold.
Yet weariness besets him, tired and worn,
From riding long this fair female adorn.

Unconscious, she raced, in chaos bestowed.
The slumberous bed transformed, swift in pace,
A racecourse bred of impatience's embrace.

But with unconditional love, he strikes,
A paradox, where pain and devotion intertwine.
A kiss bestowed upon the weary mare,
As she runs, exhausted, beyond compare.

Her flowing mane, tamed by the horseman's touch,
A testament to their bond, strong and such.
No victory pole in sight, no sign to cheer,
No respite granted to the mare so dear.

Thus, restless days and nights be her fate,
No rest, no solace, in this relentless state.
Yet through it all, their bond holds true,
A testament to the strength they both pursue.
