More people have been admitted to Trincomalee hospital in the widespread case of suspected food poisoning bringing the current total to 270 affected, of which 202 are students.

Dear Collegues,
There was a panic in Trincomalee about "Food Poisoning" after consumtion of bakery products. all schools were closed. School Children suspecting eaten Bakery Products, developed symptoms like "Guideness", "Abdominal Pain" and few "Vommitting" were rushed to General Hos[pital, Trincomalee.
About 129 so called "Patients" were admitted through out Trincomalee town & Gravits area.
The real story is about 5 fishermen bought 15 Egg Bun & Curry Bun from Asoka Bakery on 22nd morning at 5.30 am went for fishing. They had consumed few Buns, during fishing. After coming back home they took some more buns. Five of them developed severe abdominal pain, vommitting & Diarrhoea & got admitted to GH/Trincomalee on 23rd. One of them died and other 3 of them were had continuous diarrhoea & Vommitting.
When the death story spread to the schools & public; teachers sent allsuspected Guideness & Abdominal Pain cases to Hospital.
Altogether 129 cases admitted to the hospital & 15 went against medical advise after no "Symptomps"
In this there were 2 different incidence were joined together due to only "Fear Psychocis".
The first 5 fisherman got admitted really had "Food Poisoning" problem & outof that one died. Ashoka Bakery is closed & food items were confistigated for examination
The other event of School children was really doe to Panic.
Now almost all the students are fine & keeping well. They will be under observation & discharge tomorrow morning.
