අනේ මන්ද බන්....මමත් ටික දවසක් හන්තාන ලිනක්ස් අලුත් වර්ෂන් එක යූස් කරලා බැලුවා....
මටනම් දැනුනේ ස්පීඩ් අඩුයි වගේ වින්ඩෝස් 7 වලට වඩා......

outdated argument. you will be amazed by how generic linux kernel configure hardware without any additional installation process . My dongle, webcam works like a charm without installing anything where in windows i need to install webcam drivers , mobile partner and bla bla. and manufactures begin to develop proprietary drivers for GPUs like for nvidia GPU s. well about games, its all about time http://www.dedoimedo.com/games/linux-games-best.html

My dongle, webcam works like a charm without installing anything where in windows i need to install webcam drivers , mobile partner and bla bla. and manufactures begin to develop proprietary drivers for GPUs like for nvidia GPU s. well about games, its all about time http://www.dedoimedo.com/games/linux-games-best.html

I agree with Generic drivers, they seem to work fine out of the box(Keyboards, Web cams, printers etc etc). But I still haven't seen good firmware for graphics cards yet. Oh the games on that web site is shit compared to what we have on Windows and Mac. I tried steam last month and played few "steam play" games and they are not as good as on windows.
But that's just gaming if someone is not really interested in gaming then you can take really good advantage out of Linux compared to windows.
For me I prefer OS X. Switched from Windows coupe of months ago

yes, gaming in linux is still premature in the development. but its a process. well, i'd like to experience mac myself too. but with my restrains in my budget i'm ready to quench with ubuntu with Mountain lion theme
