From Hitachi?

FYI, before this, the largest 15k RPM drives were 300GB ones. They only come for SCSI interface, and are only used in server environment.

The highest RPM drives for a desktop PC are the Western Digital Raptor series. 150GB is the largest. (This is not to say that you can't use these 15000 RPM drives in a desktop, but the cost is huge! the SCSI interface cards are expensive (VERY few motherboards come with them) and the hard disks themselves are pretty expensive.)

    Where I'm now
Western Digital or Seagate(Or maxtor made by seagate).Dont buy a Hitachi. They are not sure for long life.Anyway I personally like to get a Samsung F1 series 500GB.They have the highest platter speed so you wont feel slow + they have a 32MB cache.
