    They beat the earlier Sri Lankan record for the sixth wicket, the 133 between Atapattu and Arnold against India at Vadodara in 2005.

    Here's an important stat: It's also the highest sixth-wicket stand by any team in ODIs after losing half their side for less than 50.

    One more: ML Udawatte becomes the second opening batsman to register
    a debut zero against West Indies. The other batsman is Salman Butt
    who got a duck on debut at Southampton on 22.09.04.

    Silva made his fourth consecutive half-century at this venue and took charge of the stand. Kapugedera proved his worth with 95 and it makes me wonder why he's never had an extended run in this team. That should change now. West Indies lost the plot and just couldn't keep them in check.
