One person died on the spot while the other was  injured and rushed to the Bentota Rural Hospital, police said.They said the gunmen later fled the scene on the motorcycle and a hunt for the suspects is currently under way.In the other incident at Akuressa in the Deep South one person was shot dead following an altercation with another man.ST</blockquote>
