SINOPSIS

Before I Self Destruct is the fourth album by rapper 50 Cent on his signature label with Interscope, excluding his album "Greatest Hits".

Initially, "Before I Self Destruct" was planned to be the album of 50 Cent in 2007 but decided to release Curtis, and so the release date for Before I Self Destruct was changed for 2008 and later in 2009.

The album was announced to be launched on 4 February 2008 but later changed to March 2008 due to the release of "Curtis" was changed to September 2007. After it was revealed that in an interview with mienmbro G-Unit Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks, the album was scheduled to launch the 4th quarter of 2008, after 50 Cent said that the album would be released on 9 December 2008.

In a red carpet 50 Cent was interviewed and stated that while he was working on the album, he wrote, produced, and directed his first film, saying the film's release will coincide with the release of the album.

In early October 2008, the first single "Get Up" was released by the official website of 50 Cent "ThisIs50.com" also on YouTube, with the production of Scott Storch. The second single "I Get It In" was released early in January 2009 with production credits to Dr. Dre. The third single was confirmed and released as "Ok, You're Right" with production by Dr. Dre as the previous single. The fourth single, along with Ne-Yo, was released in early September 2009, entitled "Baby By Me", which has a similar tone to the song "I Get Money" 50 Cent.

The track listing was confirmed in the early months of 2009, and continued for nearly half of the year when 50 Cent released "Baby By Me" was canceled the list of songs that had been confirmed, although he never said that songs announced were canceled and may not have won in the album. During an interview in October 2009 the rapper gave some details of his album, saying that artists Ne-Yo and R. Kelly only were collaborators on the album, also said his producer, "Dr. Dre" produced four songs on the album, because in the first list of songs produce 5.

"Before I Self Destruct" was confirmed to be released on November 17, 2009, but in October the same year the rapper 50 Cent held out on launch day, which attests to the 23 of November of that year.

50 Cent has made a few songs in recent months but has not confirmed any for the album, first released "Hard Rock" with Esther Dean of Interscope, and days later released "Dreamin" produced by Dr. Dre, Eminem but confirmed a composition in which he and 50 Cent singing together on the existing lines. In the same month also said he will not sing along with the Los Angeles rapper "The Game", a former member of the "G-Unit".
